Summer Event Recap
From NYC to the Hamptons to Connecticut, our NYC-based floral design and production team worked on some amazing events this summer! Our team brought to life some stunning, “Insta-Worthy” floral installations this season, and we’re sharing 5 of our favorite events and floral installations from the summer.
1. Netflix x Teen Vogue’s ‘Never Have I Ever’ Event
We kicked off the summer season working with Product of Culture on a Netflix x Teen Vogue media event. This event celebrated the final season of Netflix’s binge-worthy show, ‘Never Have I Ever’. The B Floral designers brought to life an impactful fresh flower wall for the step-and-repeat, where the color scheme matched the show’s season poster/key art.
2. EHP Light Up The Night
In July, we celebrated Bastille Day with EHP Resort and Marina. Sisi Restaurant hosted the annual Clamshell Foundation Firework Show, a three-decade-long tradition in East Hampton!
Our NYC-based floral design team created a lush faux flower wall/photo moment that greeted guests as they walked in. Event-goers were able to snap a photo in front of our interactive photo moment. Faux flower walls can be just as lush and impactful as any real flower wall! Faux flower walls or floral installations are great outdoor decor options, especially to resist the summer heat, as they’re very durable.
Inside the restaurant, we used tropical florals for a summer aesthetic, incorporating anthurium, ginger flower, birds of paradise, palms, delphinium, phalaenopsis, cockscomb, and garden rose. Our designers went for a bold and bright color palette - purples, bright orange, red, and pinks. To bring the space from day to night, we incorporated neon lights into the floral moments.
3. Max Mara x The Parrish Museum’s 2023 Midsummer Dinner Benefit
Max Mara hosted the Parrish Museum’s 2023 Midsummer Benefit in Water Mill, NY. At the event, Max Mara present 10 Midsummer-themed Resort 2024 looks!
The B Floral team created a whimsical and romantic seated floral installation to compliment the event’s “Midsummer” theme. Guests and models were able to lounge or sit for a stunning photo moment.
4. Disco Themed Private Event
The B Floral team worked with 23 Layers on a disco-themed private event in East Hampton. We transformed Sisi Restaurant into a fabulous 70’s retro disco, where we implemented roller skates and disco balls of all sizes throughout the space.
5. Max Mara - Hampton Jolly Pop Up
The Glasshouse in Connecticut had their annual Summer Party, hosted by Max Mara this year. Guests were able to explore the grounds, enjoy homemade gelato, and shop Max Mara’s 2023 Spring/Summer collection.
For this event, our design team decorated a classic vintage Hampton Jolly in fresh florals for a chic, stand-out photo moment! When curating all your event’s decor details, make sure to think outside-of-the-box when ideating a unique and impactful flower installation.
