The holidays are just around the corner - so it's about that time to dust off the holiday china, break out the linens, and dress your table to impress your guests. Our tip for proper holiday cheer? Be modern! A traditional table setting with a modern twist of fun colors or an unconventional tablescape is a surefire way to inspire your company.
Berries + Rosemary
Adding seasonal elements to your tablescape provides a festive atmosphere. Consider berries to fill the bottom portion of a vase and place a candle and petals (or flower heads) on top. Rosemary stems have a wonderful, holiday scent and can be used as a setting accent over a napkin or around placed arrangements.
Mixing jewel toned glassware is an unconventional but super chic way to add fun to your table. Pair with silver and metallic (i.e. vases + napkins) and keep your blooms in brighter, lighter jewel tones for pop.
Wine + Basalt Stones
There's a certain richness in this tablescape that pulls from shades of wine, and relaxation that resonates with basalt stones. Accent your table with square bud vases, filled halfway with small basalt stones. To add a jolt of energy to the table, place a bright colored bloom (we love orchid) on top of the stones.
Greenery + Soft Glow
Give your tablescape a whimsical, rustic feel with pine and twine. Scattering (unscented) candles along your table creates a faux table runner with a soft glow. Go further with the detailing and mix your metals (i.e. this gold dessert spoon and china with silver flatware) to add to the industrial look.
